What benefit is therapy, really?
Counselling/therapy/whatever you want to call it is an opportunity to build self awareness, improve emotional regulation, help with internal struggles, improve relationships and communication, and promote personal growth.
Phew! That's a lot.
Through building a therapeutic relationship with each other, this is done over multiple sessions.
Sometimes, you feel worse before you feel better. That's totally normal!
The first few sessions are about getting to know each other, creating that safety, and identifying areas that you want to focus on.

What to Expect

Counselling sessions are offered virtually at this time

Sessions are 50 minutes long and are run from my private home-office.

I encourage you do what you need to be comfortable- wear something comfy, grab a blanket, some snacks or drinks. Therapy doesn't need to be so clinical and stuffy.
